INDEX has played a key role in assisting our client Australia Financial Security Authority (AFSA) with migrating and upgrading their current bankruptcy system, from Oracle ADF10.3 to a new ADF 12c framework. This included a core three person team with an Oracle and Java Developer; a Project Manager and Business Analyst, all reporting directly to the Assistant Director of the ICT. The desired outcome of this project was to implement the new bankruptcy legislation changes which came into effect in 2018.
The project commenced under a partial Agile manner, and our Developer stepped in to take responsibility for assigning and prioritising the tasks at hand; whilst assisting the Business Analyst and various Testers with technical understanding and depth. With an optimal outcome as the desired objective, throughout the project a slow adoption of more Agile methodology occurred; which assisted in setting up and running streamlined processes and standards between the development and project teams.
The first project; migrating and upgrading the system was successfully delivered within the allotted time frame. The next stage which is currently in progress, incorporates some new and unexpected changes to the system; it is currently on track for success.
